Deborah Corradino
Deborah is an Acupuncturist and Herbalist, earning her post-graduate degree in 1999 from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has studied under senior practitioners in both the US and China including an apprenticeship with Dr. Jake Fratkin and a year long advanced internship in Hangzhou, China where she focussed her studies on Gynaecology and Autoimmune Disease.
Deborah also holds a Master's Degree in Public Health and worked as a researcher for the Department of Public Health Medicine and Epidemiology at UCD. While there she was funded by the National Nutrition Surveillance Centre to contribute to the governments 2005 Obesity Task Force Report--investigating the effects of physical activity on weight loss, health and society. She also implemented acupuncture and herbal medicine programmes in the treatment of addiction for the North Dublin Inner City Drugs Task Force.
Prior to moving to Ireland, she had a private practice in Sydney, Australia and worked as a Herbal Medicine Consultant at the Green Medicine Company, providing practitioners with training and support in TCM Diagnosis and Chinese Herbal Medicine prescriptions. She has advanced training in fertility enhancement and specialises in women's health issues inclucing infertility, menopause, pregnancy related issues, and menstrual problems. Deborah is certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (USA), the Irish Association of and is on the board of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland. Deborah currently lectures on Chinese Medicine Theory and Research Methods at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Dublin. | |
